How the Broadband One Window online map based platform will be leveraging spatial data to support the Province of Ontario's Accelerated High Speed Internet Program

Ontario has passed the Building Broadband Faster Act 2021. The province is about to embark on a massive uplift of high speed internet availability to bring service to a majority of the Ontario population that is currently unserved.  OneWindow is a map centric solution aimed at streamlining stakeholder engagement to support infrastructure projects. 

OneWindow will provide Internet Service Providers with a Province-wide solution for submitting and managing several project related requirements, examples include:

• Municipal consent packages
• Third party attachment request to LDC's
• Pre-Engineering information requests
• Specialty permits

Stakeholders, including Municipalities and utilities, will leverage OneWindow to respond and engage with each request all while providing Infrastructure Ontario with valuable insights to monitor and control the Accelerated High Speed Internet Program (AHSIP).
