The December Social is for students, new grads and young professional BeSpatial members.

         Hanna Sjostrom; GIS Application Analyst at the Town of Milton (5 years in the geospatial industry)

        Jeff Norris; Senior Enterprise Support Specialist - Rolta Canada (4 years in the geospatial industry)

        and Susan Muleme Kasumba; Business Development Manager - Airborne Imaging  (22 years in the geospatial industry).

Susan Muleme Kasumba - Business Development Manager - Airborne Imaging 

Susan Muleme Kasumba has been working in geospatial since graduating from the Cartographic Technologist Program at Sir Sandford Fleming College in 1998. Her career has taken her from GIS Software at Avenza, to cartographic map production at Western University, and even photogrammetric map production at two British Columbia based companies. Susan is currently a Business Development Manager at Airborne Imaging, Canada’s largest airborne LiDAR provider. She is also the current President of BeSpatial / urisa Ontario.

Hanna Sjostrom - GIS Application Analyst

Hanna Sjostrom is a GIS Application Analyst with the Town of Milton. She discovered her love for GIS while pursuing an environmental studies degree at McMaster University and then went on to get a Graduate Degree from Fleming College. At the Town of Milton Hanna works on designing, implementing and maintaining the GIS architecture.

Jeff Norris - Senior Enterprise Support Specialist

Jeff Norris was introduced to GIS at Mohawk College in 2011 when pursuing Urban Planning. Following that he attended Fleming College’s GIS Program where he specialized in Web GIS. He is currently a Senior Enterprise Support Specialist at Rolta Canada where he specializes in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting their OnPoint software.
