York Region Planning is leveraging the 3D modelling technologies and dynamic geospatial platforms to better understand how densities look and feel around Major Transit Station Areas, other transit nodes and in new communities being planned. This presentation will discuss the impetus for visualizing densities at York Region, how best to communicate the look and feel of density targets through different platforms, discuss projects that visualize hypothetical Major Transit Station Areas and actual Centres and Corridors in the Region, and share visualizations created to date
