Biography

I am a Toronto-based GIS Technician with one year of experience in digitization and spatial analysis. I hold a Master’s degree in Urban Studies from Malmö University in Sweden and a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning from Iran.

I am currently a participant in the PAIE (Professional Access Into Employment) Program, which supports internationally trained environmental professionals through technical training, mentorship, and networking opportunities.

My passion for GIS stems from its power to bridge data, environment, and design. I enjoy applying geospatial tools to support evidence-based decision-making in urban planning, environmental management, and land conservation. I am particularly interested in how spatial analysis can guide sustainable land use, protect natural resources, and promote climate-resilient communities.

I am continuously building my GIS and data analysis skills through ongoing professional development courses and hands-on projects, staying up to date with the latest tools and technologies in the geospatial field.
