Biography

I’m a GIS and remote sensing professional with a Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Environment and Sustainability from Nipissing University and a Certificate in Geomatics. During my time at Nipissing, I led a collaborative project with the City of North Bay to develop a digital fire hydrant inspection system, integrating mobile data collection and real-time dashboards into their existing GIS infrastructure. From there I took on the Summer Student position as the GIS Technician at the City of Orillia where I worked on diverse projects including creating an interactive parking map using Experience Builder and processing and analyzing Census data using Beyond20/20 and ArcGIS Enterprise.
I recently passed the Pre-GISP exam by GISCI to receive my GISP-E certification. Currently, I am working as a Public Works GIS Technician with the Township of St. Clair and collaborating with multiple teams to streamline GIS and Cartegraph integration for Enterprise Asset Management.
With hands-on experience in ArcGIS, Python, and municipal asset management, I’m passionate about using geospatial technology to create practical, real-world solutions. I was honored to receive the Dave Marshall Leadership Award in the academic category in recognition of my academic contributions and leadership at Nipissing University.
